FInal project propsal

 For the final project, Pacific and I decided to gather a group. We are going to do a song from the movie La La Land called Some In The Crowd. We are going to cut a part of it to do. We decided to cut the instrumental part of the song. Pacific is going to design a dance and I'm going to play piano for her. We decided to put some storyline into it. Therefore, we are going to film it. The first part will be Pac's solo acting part which means I' ll be keeping playing piano on the background, but she will be acting. The second part is Pac starts dancing and I play the piano beside her. The third part is my solo part, it will be a bit depressing but it's gonna turn to fast and happy as the verse. At the last, I and Pac are gonna meet again and end the performance. It sounds very easy for me. However, it's actually very hard for me. First of all, literally, I am not a  pianist. Some people know that I have passed a very high-level piano test in China, but it's like a century ago. I do use the piano to write things but I don't think I'm still a pianist especially this isn't an easy song. Secondly, this is not the music style that I familiar with. I'm a total blues player. I listen to B.B.King, Stevie. Ray, Buddy Guy... Sometimes I say, I can play shuffle when I'm sleeping. However, this is not a blues song, and it is not a swing song. It's a very fast a bit R'n'B and jazz style song. Therefore, it is definitely very challenging for me. In another hand, music is my strength, it is not an easy thing to do and I have been keeping learning and learning. I have my own style in music, that is definitely a strength. I have been thinking of some different idea to add this in a more peculiar way, so I'd say that different idea would be another strength of me.

                                                We have done our little monologue acting through last few week，everyone‘s wonderful and it makes stressful. Anyway，for my acting，the boy named Austin knocks head of school’s door，I would like to say there is something I‘m quit satisfied，but also there is something I think I can prove. The sound  designer is in charge of anything that is heard during the production. This includes life or recorded music and  sound  effects as well as the vocal projection of the actors, both speaking and singing. LET’s Drink a Case of You “A Case Of You” as a song which has been very popular since 1971 has several interesting point to analysis and people have different adaptations within the text. Most of people think that the song talks about all the missing the author has to her lost husband.  It seems to me, the text tries to prove how much the author misses her country and loves her country. Joni Mitchell is a Canadian singer and songwriter. She quotes the famous Shakespeare line “ I am as constant as a northern star” on the first stanza of the song. It is spoke by by Caesar to his conspirators right before they assassinate him. I think it shows the constant heart of the author that she loves her country deeply and her heart will never be moved.  Moreover, following the text, the author states that “ I drew a map of Canada Oh, Canada” .
