My Opinion Of Theater

  As a blues player, it seems I don't play in the theatre very often but as a drama actor I'm actually very familiar with theatre.  Theatre is a place that people can express themselves in a very different way and it is a place may not be very serious but it is stately and it has to be respect. I take theatre very seriously, I mean, it is very different than playing blues in the live house. Playing blues in live houses is free and we can jam with each other even we haven't met before, it doesn't need to be perfect , Buddy Guy does not tune his guitar very often and Jimi Hendrix didn't know what he is playing while he is playing on the stage, every blues musicians just play whatever they want. Nevertheless, playing in the theatre is much more difficult,  I can not play whatever I want, we have to show our best to our audiences, I have to analyze the background of the play, remember the lines over and over, and put me into the character. For me the meaning of the theatre is trying to achieve my best and show it to others. Moreover, it helps to learn corporate with each other.
  As I said above, when you want to participate in a perform, you have to ready for the challenges, maybe the character's personality is very different from your personality or the lines are very hard to understand and remember. You have to have the brave to face those challenges if you don't you are definitely not ready to take part in a play and be a good actor. For an audience, you don't have to appreciate every actor in a play, and you don't have to give applause to everyone. However, when you are watching a play, at least you have to be quiet and show respect to everyone. Yet, if you are an actor, learn something from other while you are watching a play, I sure it is useful.
 A few centuries' ago, theatre only belongs to the high class people, it was a place to relax and enjoy free times. Anyway, now days, theatre belongs to probably everyone, and it becomes a lifestyle. People go to see comedy plays for a laugh, children go to see fair tales for their little fantasies,and people also go to theatre for musics especially we got more kind of musicals such as hip hop. I go to see musical and I love musicals because I can learn many different kind of music and I'm inspired by those musics. As a blues guitar player, the musical Cats and The Phantom of opera have left a big influence on me, so I love go to theatre.

Monologue Review

                                                We have done our little monologue acting through last few week，everyone‘s wonderful and it makes stressful. Anyway，for my acting，the boy named Austin knocks head of school’s door，I would like to say there is something I‘m quit satisfied，but also there is something I think I can prove. Sound in theatre

The sound  designer is in charge of anything that is heard during the production. This includes life or recorded music and  sound  effects as well as the vocal projection of the actors, both speaking and singing. LET’s Drink a Case of You “A Case Of You” as a song which has been very popular since 1971 has several interesting point to analysis and people have different adaptations within the text. Most of people think that the song talks about all the missing the author has to her lost husband.  It seems to me, the text tries to prove how much the author misses her country and loves her country. Joni Mitchell is a Canadian singer and songwriter. She quotes the famous Shakespeare line “ I am as constant as a northern star” on the first stanza of the song. It is spoke by by Caesar to his conspirators right before they assassinate him. I think it shows the constant heart of the author that she loves her country deeply and her heart will never be moved.  Moreover, following the text, the author states that “ I drew a map of Canada Oh, Canada” .
